Abnormal Loads Private Escort Service

Highway Management Maintenance (HMM) provides an abnormal load escort service for travel on the roads of Northern Ireland and others if required. We also approve abnormal loads for travel inside the limits of the DBFO 1 Project Road.

HMM utilise a fully trained, well equipped and experienced team of staff and operatives, evidence of this can be seen on our other pages.

HMM are able to provide a vehicle, driver and fully equipped, plus additional safety requirements on today's busy road network. Vehicles are fitted with warning beacons, rear high visability markings and are clearly marked to identify that it is an escort vehicle. The escort vehicle shall not form any part of the units carrying or hauling the abnormal load.
